Ob/Gyns – A primary care providers for women

The expansion of managed health care services and their importance on the exercise of primary care contributors as gatekeepers has radically changed the value of a specialty designated as a provider of primary care. Gynecology jobs , Obstetrics jobs as a primary care job has become vital career because it offers a patient base and source of income and it is significant to patients because it permits straight contact to those doctors. For nearly all part, general internists, pediatricians and family doctors are chosen as primary care consultants. More and more, there have been efforts at all levels to allocate gynecologists and obstetrician as primary care providers for women. A bill was brought in 1999 before both houses of the 106th Congress that would permit women to choose Ob/Gyns as their primary care doctors, and it is still awaiting permission.
